What we're looking for

- Knowledge of the insurance sector, knowledge of Spanish and international accounting standards, knowledge of the Solvency II regulation.
- High level of English (minimum B2).
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office package.
- Availability to travel.
Nice to have
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an insurance company or a professional services firm as an external auditor specialized in the insurance sector.
- Other courses specializing in accounting standards, databases, financial audit, data analytics applications, financial instruments.
- Power BI, ACL, SAS, etc. are valuable.
- Familiarity with programming languages is also valuable.

Financial Services Organizations (FSO) is the EY area that encompasses professionals providing services to the financial and insurance sectors. It is a multidisciplinary environment oriented towards adapting agilely to client needs.
In this context, internal and external audit, business advisory, financial and technological risk, and consulting profiles coexist, with the objective of offering rapid, effective responses adapted to each situation.
In this environment, FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) supports CFOs, controllers, treasurers, and audit committees in complying with constantly evolving financial requirements, contributing to improved transparency and decision-making. Additionally, it drives the finance function through data analysis and the use of innovative tools.
We are looking for an executive profile with a minimum of 6-7 years of experience in consulting and/or financial audit projects and in managing work teams, with problem-solving skills and motivation towards client-oriented projects in the financial sector (banking, insurance, asset wealth management).
What you'll do
As a member of our team, you will participate in different services and projects such as:
- Accounting and actuarial advisory and support to clients in the insurance sector (DGSFP, EIOPA, IFRS 17, etc.): support in resolving inquiries, advisory on the implementation of accounting regulations, support in the design of Solvency II regulatory reporting processes, review of QRT, due diligence and PPA, description of control and governance processes, definition and testing of controls, analytical review and financial impact analysis, etc.
- Audit and ISFS review services: annual and/or interim financial account audits, Solvency II reports.
