Process, Risk and Technology Auditor

We are looking for a Senior Auditor with experience in internal audit within banking or highly regulated environments, capable of evaluating business processes, risks, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and supporting technology. The position combines functional banking knowledge, a risk vision, and analytical capacity to identify improvement opportunities and provide value-added recommendations for the business.

• Execute audits on business processes, operational risks, regulatory compliance, and the technological environment.
• Design and perform audit tests, documenting evidence and evaluating the effectiveness of controls.
• Analyze end-to-end processes to identify risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Review controls related to operational resilience, business continuity, third-party management, and technology governance.
• Evaluate access controls, logical security, application governance, and IT general controls from an audit perspective.
• Perform reconciliations, recalculations, population analyses, and data-driven reviews.
• Prepare findings, recommendations, and executive reports aimed at management and key stakeholders.
• Participate in audits of different natures within a regulated and changing environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using corporate document management and audit tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's internal control and risk management processes.

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar.
• Previous experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or Internal Control.
• Solid knowledge of the banking sector and its main business processes.
• Experience performing audit tests, evidence analysis, preparation of findings, and report writing.
• Ability to understand the relationship between business processes, applications, data, and controls.
• Experience working autonomously in the execution of audits.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Written and verbal communication skills to interact with different business areas.
• Adaptability and flexibility to participate in different types of audits.

It will be highly valued:

• Experience in audits related to DORA, operational resilience, business continuity, outsourcing, and EBA guidelines.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ENS, or equivalent control and security frameworks.
• Experience in application governance, technological controls, information security, or data protection.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, ACL Analytics, DBeaver, or Python.
• Advanced level of Excel.
• Experience with SharePoint, GRC tools, or audit and risk management platforms such as Diligent.
• Previous experience in financial entities, Big Four, or top-tier audit/consulting firms.
