We are looking for Waste Collection Drivers, Waste Collection Laborers, Road Cleaning Laborers and Specialist Laborers (Sweeper Drivers and/or
Hydro-cleaning Vans) to provide services in the municipality of La Oliva (Fuerteventura).
The selected individuals will participate in the provision of road cleaning and waste collection services, contributing to the maintenance of public spaces in optimal conditions of cleanliness, safety, and health.
The main duties will be:
Road Cleaning Laborers:
Cleaning of outdoors and public roads.
Sweeping of streets, squares, and urban spaces.
Collection of overflowing containers and waste from public roads.
Washing of public roads.
Cleaning of bins, benches, and street furniture.
Removal of waste and maintenance of the general cleanliness of the surroundings.
Support in other tasks specific to the road cleaning service.
Waste Collection Drivers:
Safe and efficient driving of collection trucks on assigned routes.
Operation of the waste loading and compaction system.
Coordination with collection personnel to ensure an effective service.
Basic maintenance and daily inspection of the vehicle.
Visual inspection and control of the general condition of the equipment.
Compliance with road safety, occupational risk prevention, and environmental regulations.
Waste Collection Laborers:
Collection and handling of urban waste.
Collaboration in loading and unloading operations.
Support for drivers during assigned routes.
Handling of tools and implements specific to the service.
Identification and communication of incidents detected during the working day.
Complying with established safety procedures.
Specialist Laborers:
Operation of mechanical sweepers on public roads and urban areas.
Driving of hydro-cleaning vans.
Carrying out washing and hydro-cleaning work.
Support in urban cleaning tasks and collection of bulky items.
Basic inspection and preventive maintenance of assigned equipment.
Communication of incidents and breakdowns detected during the service.
Availability to travel to the workplace.
Availability to work in shifts if the service requires it.
Possession of valid B, C, and CAP driving licenses according to the position will be valued.
