Quality Assurance Officer (Chemical Plant)

Under the supervision of the Senior QA Manager, apply Ferrer's internal standards and the reference standards of the Quality System, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for APIs, and 21 CFR Part 210 & 211 GxP within their assigned areas of action, and in those where they are applicable. Execute the Quality Assurance program at the site that applies to them according to the reference standards of the Quality System under current regulations, likewise ensuring continuous improvement.

• Ensure management within your area of action according to the principles of the established Quality System. Manage the documentary system, including checking the adequate state of staff training and its traceability within your area of application. Prepare and/or review GxP documentation from your area of application, including that related to Suppliers and Subcontracted Services.
• Establish, coordinate, and ensure the correct review of the documentation of the manufactured batches, deviations, and customer complaints in your area of application. Establish, coordinate, and ensure compliance with the equipment, facility, and service qualification program, as well as the validation of manufacturing and cleaning processes and relevant GxP system validations, in your area of application.
• Provide support and participate as needed in internal and external audits and inspections by health authorities. Ensure that the corrective actions derived are implemented effectively and within the established timeframe.
• Participate in assigned cross-functional projects as a technical expert in your area/field of application, ensuring the application of the Quality System standards.
• Manage the investigation of quality system deviations in their area, including the management and verification of the effectiveness of the CAPAs derived from said deviations, and coordinate change controls in their area of application.
• Actively participate in the training and continuous improvement of the Quality System in your area of application.
• Provide objective data periodically and participate in the preparation of reports related to quality indicators in your area of application.
