Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum experience of 2-3 years in web application development.
Solid knowledge of Java 11 and/or Java 17.
Experience in development with JavaScript.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL language.
Experience with Eclipse development environments or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira.
Experience in the development and consumption of REST services.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience with integration and quality tools such as Jenkins and Sonar.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or Gitea.
Knowledge of application architecture and development best practices.
Analytical capacity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Experience in corporate environments and/or the insurance sector.
Interest in acquiring functional knowledge of the insurance business.
Good communication skills and orientation toward software quality.

The role

What you'll do

Develop and maintain corporate web applications based on Java and JavaScript technologies.
Implement new functionalities, evolutionary improvements, and functional adaptations.
Integrate applications with internal and external web services and APIs.
Analyze technical and functional incidents, proposing and implementing solutions.
Participate in the development of REST services and in the evolution of application architecture.
Collaborate with analysts, QA, and systems teams to guarantee the quality of solutions.
Apply development best practices, version control, and code quality.
Document developments, incidents, and evolutionary improvements carried out.
Participate in transformation projects and continuous improvement of corporate applications.
