What you'll do

  • Perform all those actions necessary for the correct coordination of the shift in which they are working, of the inter-island and national Door-to-Door service across all maritime lines, ensuring the maintenance of the excellence standard and continuous improvement; following the instructions of the Door-to-Door Coordinator:
  • Carry out all actions aimed at coordinating the shift team to achieve the set objectives, in coordination with the rest of the department. All of this, under the commercial strategy defined and transmitted by the department management.
  • Coordinate the shift team to perform all tasks related to communication with customers and carriers at the time of collecting, transporting, and delivering their goods, both to their own warehouse and to other warehouses distributed throughout the islands and the mainland.
  • Collaborate in all tasks related to the correct coordination and supervision of multimodal and road transport.
  • Be in charge of the organization, monitoring, and distribution of the work of the team that manages the cargo among the various carriers hired and/or the company's vessels, following the instructions of the Door-to-Door Service Coordinator.
  • Verify that all contracts with land carriers are fulfilled, ensuring they have sufficient and adequate equipment and means to respond to the customer's requirements.
  • Supervision and organization of the shift personnel who perform and verify the bookings and services necessary for the various operations, which are duly formulated and communicated, ensuring that the issued bookings do not exceed in number or type the possibilities of each vessel.
  • Coordinate and supervise the sending of reports to carriers regarding the services performed monthly.
  • Any other task included in the referred department and/or delegated and/or indicated by the direct supervisor and/or the maximum person responsible for the corresponding organizational unit.
  • Comply with the management system defined by the organization regarding quality, maritime safety, environment, information security, occupational risk prevention, accessibility, and any other defined by Fred. Olsen that is applicable to their job position.
