Requirements

Education & certifications

Advanced Vocational Training Certificate (Higher Level), preferably specializing in mechanics, electromechanics, mechatronics, or a related field.

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation systems will be valued.

Minimum experience of THREE YEARS in industrial maintenance, preferably in companies within the Stamping, Welding, or Laser Cutting sectors.

Experience with machine tools, as well as operating overhead cranes and/or aerial work platforms, will be valued.

The role

Depending on the Shift Supervisor, they will be responsible for production, quality, and safety across the different production lines (laser cutting, hot stamping lines, etc.) following the quality guidelines and requirements set by the customer, as well as the company's safety and environmental standards.

What you'll do

Monitor the proper operation of the line to prevent stoppages.
Review how the lines performed during the previous shift and report this information to the next shift.
Perform part inspections according to the established frequency.
Carry out an initial visual inspection to verify the correct operation of all components.
Check robots, tooling, and for any air or water leaks.
Troubleshoot faults: electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical.
Verify that the fault has been resolved and that the machine is operating correctly.
Assist with the start-up of the repaired installation.
Set up machines for prototype production (adjust tooling, install fixtures, configure welding parameters, etc.).
Conduct part trials according to the guidelines established by the Quality department.
Verify that parts are manufactured in accordance with established requirements.
