The role
We are selecting a Maintenance Technician for our Production Plant located in Oliva, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, who will be responsible for the following functions:
What you'll do
Ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance Plans through the application of established regulations, increasing the efficiency and availability of assets (machinery, facilities). Execute the tasks indicated in the Preventive Maintenance Plan. Transmit to their hierarchical superior any material purchase requests they deem appropriate, according to needs, approved in any case by the Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure the Corrective Maintenance of machinery, solving breakdowns and incidents with speed and effectiveness, thereby reducing downtime to a minimum. Receive breakdown notices/notifications through the Shift Leader or the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Perform an analysis of the incident/breakdown, evaluating the method of resolution. Analysis and reading of the Safety Manuals for machines and equipment. Carry out the recording of the incident: time logging, operations performed, spare parts. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene measures, as well as respect for environmental regulations, in order to avoid the occurrence of accidents, infections, and possible environmental risks. Respect quality, food safety, and environmental standards, as well as occupational safety within their area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with the factory's Food Defense. Correctly segregate the waste produced in their work. Apply inspection plans within the safety scope. Control the processes under their charge that may affect food quality and safety, placing special emphasis on the processes defined by the HACCP/CCP team. Take responsibility for the tooling changes necessary in the event of possible format changes and lubrication. Observe compliance with established procedures (size changes). Ensure the maintenance of order and cleanliness in their work area.
