About the role

From Gi Group, a temporary employment agency and permanent placement division of Gi Group Holding, an Italian multinational leader in human resources solutions, we are looking to recruit, for one of our clients, an Operations Coordinator for the branch and workshop located in Valencia (La Pobla de Farnals).

The main mission of the position is to ensure the correct planning, scheduling, and execution of work, guarantee quality customer service, and efficiently manage resources (machinery, spare parts, and workshop staff), while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the entire operation.

What you'll do

  • Meet customer needs by providing quality service in line with customer standards.
  • Manage orders placed at the counter.
  • Advise and respond to customer information requests.
  • Prepare quotes and rental contracts.
  • Provide information on machinery applications and usage advice.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements in all work.
  • Coordinate work with customers.
  • Verify the quality of completed work.
  • Plan, prepare, and schedule work using the maintenance management system.
  • Adapt planning in response to changes in execution conditions.
  • Control workshop costs by promoting proper execution and improved productivity.
  • Deliver and receive machinery, completing the necessary documentation.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic, team leader, or workshop manager.
  • Experience in the machinery rental or sales sector.
  • User-level knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience with ERP, preferably Business Central (Navision).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good social abilities.
  • Own vehicle for traveling to facilities.
