Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or related degrees.
Previous experience in accounting or financial reporting positions, preferably in corporate or Shared Services environments.
Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial information for external audits.
Knowledge of financial accounting, annual accounts, and accounting closing processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems.
Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and orientation toward precision.
Organizational, planning, and teamwork skills. Interest in continuous improvement, automation, and the digital transformation of financial processes.

Nice to have

Intermediate level of English.

The role

At Gi Group, we are looking for a GL REPORTING ANALYST for the finance department of a multinational advertising and marketing company located in Madrid.

What you'll do

Performing general accounting tasks: accounting entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
Recording and accounting of operations in the ERP system.
Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, identification of discrepancies, and resolution of incidents.
Ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and auditing standards.
Preparation and maintenance of documentation for internal and external audits.
Preparation of financial reports and variance analysis, identifying possible irregularities or trends.
Collaboration with other financial areas, such as Treasury, Tax, and accounts payable and receivable departments.
Monitoring of operating procedures and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support in the implementation of automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence tools applied to financial processes.
