Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or related degrees.

- 2-3 years of previous experience in accounting or financial reporting positions, preferably in corporate or Shared Services environments.

- Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial information for external audits.

- Knowledge of financial accounting, annual accounts, and accounting closing processes.

- Proficiency in ERP systems.

- Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and orientation toward precision.

- Organizational, planning, and teamwork skills. Interest in continuous improvement, automation, and the digital transformation of financial processes.

Nice to have

- Intermediate level of English.

What you'll get

- 6-month temporary contract (Temporary Employment Agency)

- Full-time schedule of 37.5h/week. M-Th from 9:00 to 18:00h and F from 9:00 to 14:30h.

The role

At GI GROUP, we are looking to recruit an ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING TECHNICIAN for a multinational advertising and marketing company located in Madrid.

What you'll do

- Performing general accounting tasks: accounting entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.

- Recording and accounting of operations in the ERP system.

- Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, identification of discrepancies, and resolution of incidents.

- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and auditing standards.

- Preparation and maintenance of documentation for internal and external audits.

- Preparation of financial reports and variance analysis, identifying possible irregularities or trends.

- Collaboration with other financial areas, such as Treasury, Tax, and accounts payable and receivable departments.

- Monitoring of operating procedures and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support in the implementation of automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence tools applied to financial processes.
