What we're looking for

  • Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect certification (mandatory).
  • Solid experience in solution architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience designing Cloud Native, hybrid, and/or multicloud solutions.
  • Ability to perform application assessments and convert business and technical requirements into HLD and LLD architectures.

  • Compute and containers.
  • Networking and hybrid connectivity.
  • IAM, identity, authentication, and security.
  • Storage and databases.
  • APIs and integration.
  • Observability, availability, and resilience.
  • Experience with Landing Zones, reference architectures, patterns, and cloud standards.
  • Ability to evaluate and justify architectural alternatives and placement decisions, taking into account security, performance, scalability, governance, and cost.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform and the development of reusable modules.
  • Knowledge of AWS for multicloud scenarios.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
  • Knowledge of federated identity, authentication, and enterprise authorization.
  • Experience in application migration and modernization.
  • Knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Previous experience in Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), Cloud Governance, or cloud architecture teams.

The role

At Grupo NS we are hiring a Cloud Solution Architect specialized in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) of a major technological project.

We are looking for an expert profile in cloud architecture, with a global vision and solid technical capacity to analyze applications and workloads, define target architectures, and determine the most suitable deployment model: GCP Cloud Native, hybrid environments, on-premise, or multicloud.

The position combines the design of high and low-level architectures (HLD/LLD) with the evolution of the common capabilities of the CCoE, driving standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and cloud governance best practices.

Objective and vision of the role

The objective is not to automatically migrate all applications to GCP, but to define for each workload the architecture and deployment model that best responds to its requirements and the client's technological ecosystem.

Additionally, each project must contribute to the evolution of the common capabilities of the CCoE through the continuous improvement of the Landing Zone, archetypes, patterns, and reusable components.

We seek to drive standardized, governed, automatable, and efficient solutions, with special attention to security, cloud governance, cost optimization, and reuse.

At Grupo NS we bet on technological talent and we want to hire professionals capable of providing vision, experience, and technical excellence in cloud transformation and architecture projects.

What you'll do

What will you do in the project?

  • Perform assessments of applications and workloads, identifying functional and technical requirements, constraints, dependencies, and integration needs.
  • Define the target architecture and the most suitable placement for each solution: GCP Cloud Native, hybrid, on-premise, or multicloud.
  • Design HLD and LLD architectures considering networking, security, IAM, authentication, integration, data, observability, availability, and resilience.
  • Select Google Cloud services and patterns, justifying architectural decisions and trade-offs in security, performance, scalability, availability, operability, and costs.
  • Integrate solutions with the client's technological ecosystem, including identity, hybrid connectivity, APIs, and data.
  • Evolve archetypes, reference architectures, patterns, and reusable components.
  • Transform recurring project needs into common CCoE standards and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the GCP Landing Zone in aspects of organization, IAM, networking, security, observability, governance, compliance, FinOps, and automation.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, networking, operations, and enterprise architecture teams.
  • Participate in architectural reviews and act as the GCP technical reference within the CCoE.
