Technical Engineer or Graduate in Environmental Field - Riverbed Maintenance Technical Support

• Valid Type B driver's license in Spain
• From 3 months to 1 year of experience in forestry works and projects or civil engineering (professional and/or academic).
• From 3 months to 6 months of experience in technical assistance to site management in forestry works or civil engineering (professional and/or academic).

• Experience (professional and/or academic) and/or training in GIS tools.
• Professional and/or academic experience in field data collection.

• You possess a Technical Engineering degree or University Degree in the following specialties: Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Technical Engineering in Public Works or Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related to the environmental field (MECES level 2) (degree officially recognized in Spain or certificate of equivalence issued by the Secretaría General de Universidades)

• Catalan Level: B2

Technical Engineer or Graduate in Environmental Field - Technical Support for Riverbed Maintenance (Barcelona)

• Support to the technical management of riverbed maintenance and conservation activities, as well as prevention and repair activities for damage in the public hydraulic domain
• Georeferencing of the intervention sections in a GIS environment, to facilitate the request for sectoral reports from the competent bodies
• Technical evaluation of the works executed, ensuring compliance with appropriate occupational risk prevention measures and for correct coordination with any company working concurrently in the intervention area
• In areas with environmental protection status, provision of technical assistance to ensure that activities are executed with an integral vision, respecting the environmental requirements established by the Subdirección General de Biodiversidad y Medio Natural.
• Drafting of commencement certificates for the activities
• Report writing

• A fixed-term contract of approximately 9 months is offered, with the option of extension if appropriate and respecting the maximum duration limits established in the current labor legislation for each contractual modality. The type and duration of the contract will depend on the reason for hiring, the project, and the circumstances of the selected person/s.
