Requirements

What we're looking for

Technical education in Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in similar positions in the metal sector, preferably in plate fabrication, machining, or metal manufacturing.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, as well as calculation software such as ANSYS or similar.
Comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing process and quality standards such as ASME, ISO, API, among others.
A willingness to take on new challenges and prove your worth.

The role

From ySondos, we are looking for a Tender and Quotation Technician profile for one of our clients in the metal sector (medium/heavy plate fabrication, machining, painting, metal manufacturing) located in Gijón, Asturias. A consolidated company that stands out for controlling the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring quality at every stage.

What you'll do

You will prepare and manage customized quotations tailored to each client's needs.
You will resolve technical and commercial inquiries, providing effective solutions.
You will follow up on orders, ensuring they meet quality standards and established deadlines.
You will perform technical calculations to ensure project feasibility.
You will work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that technical proposals are feasible and meet quality standards.

How you'll work

Location: in the industrial heart of Gijón, Asturias.
Office hours: split shift from Monday to Thursday, continuous shift on Fridays, and intensive schedule in summer.
