The mission of the position is to manage the guest's stay from check-in to check-out. The main duties include:
· Identify and welcome all hotel guests and visitors
· Recognize repeat guests and World of Hyatt members
· Pre-assign rooms
· Handle all guest requests before, during, and after their stay at the hotel
· Manage the front desk cash register (guest billing, currency exchange, etc.)
· Answer phone calls, faxes, and emails, taking reservations for rooms, restaurant, and internal services when necessary
· Promote all hotel services
· Provide information about hotel services and tourist information about the city
· Perform guest check-in and check-out
· Handle guest complaints and suggestions and refer them to a supervisor when unable to resolve them
· Billing and daily cash reconciliation of the front desk and other services offered at reception (parking, gym, etc.)
· Hospitality education: Higher Technician in Restaurant Services, Vocational Training II in Hospitality and Tourism, or Higher Level Training Cycle preferred
· Intermediate level of English, plus other languages
· Customer orientation, enthusiasm, and initiative
