Requirements

What we're looking for

Have completed a Degree in Tourism or similar studies.
Minimum experience of 1-2 years in the described position.
Advanced level of English, Spanish, and Catalan is essential
Knowledge of PMS Hotel Management, preferably Opera.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel tools.
High customer orientation and vocation for your work.
A person with initiative, dynamic, versatile, and with a great desire to learn.

Come and be part of our great work team in the position of Receptionist for Sercotel Hotel Group at our Sercotel Porta Barcelona, where your main functions will be:

What you'll do

Welcome and receive guests, attending to their needs throughout their stay at the hotel and providing them with information about all the services offered by the hotel.
Provide support in the coordination of actions with all departments, in order to offer a quality service and experience that drives customer loyalty and brand reputation.
Control hotel check-ins and check-outs.
Manage new reservations.
Stay informed about activities, news, etc., occurring in the hotel and surroundings, with the aim of guaranteeing the management of internal information and information for the customer.
Answer emails received during the work shift.
Perform cash balancing.
Telephone assistance.
Participate in, watch over, and ensure, according to the responsibilities and functions of your job position, compliance with the Criminal Compliance System.

How you'll work

Schedule from Monday to Sunday with two days off
Rotating shifts: 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00 and 23:00 - 07:00
