Currently, at HOGAR Sí, we are opening a selection process to fill a Housing Support Technician position, reporting directly to the technical coordination of the program; your main functions will be the following:

Associated with the participants:
-Conduct periodic follow-up visits to the dwellings assigned to the project and to the participants residing in them. -Promote the proper use of the housing among participants, as well as the exercise of good coexistence relations. -Intercede in the resolution of coexistence and/or neighborhood conflicts that may arise.
-Facilitate the process of establishing social bonds and relationships with the neighborhood community. -Enhance participants' knowledge and autonomous use of the immediate environment where the dwellings they reside in are located.
-Support participants by facilitating the documentation necessary for procedures related to housing (census registration, financial aid, access to services, certificates of stay, public housing applications). -Monitor economic contributions established within the framework of the project and develop support strategies for participants to ensure their fulfillment.
-Accompany participants in the search for residential solutions, housing, and/or rooms upon their exit from the program.
-Offer support in the process of autonomous exits after the stay, and in general in any exit process from the project.

Associated with the Project:
-Maintain continuous coordination with the socio-educational intervention and support team.
-Work in a coordinated manner with the different areas of the entity involved in the project.
-Participate in workspaces, such as coordination meetings, forums, working groups, technical workshops, as well as in the scheduled training activities.
-Attend and actively participate in technical coordination spaces with the Administration and project funders.
-Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project monitoring reports.

-Perform administrative management linked to the housing, including the formalization and monitoring of rental contracts, connection and disconnection of utilities, incident control, CPI reviews, and other procedures necessary for the correct functioning of the housing stock assigned to the project. -Manage the registration and updating of housing and owner information through the established tools: databases, specific management software applications,... -Carry out active housing searches through: "cold calling" door-to-door, leafleting, mailings, specialized websites, innovative search and acquisition techniques, etc.
-Maintain dialogue with property owners, evaluating and negotiating the conditions of the lease agreement.

-Monitor payments to property owners, utility companies, and any other expenses related to the housing.
-Intercede with property owners, neighborhood communities, utility companies, and insurance companies.
-Attend to inquiries from property owners during the term of the lease agreement.

Required profile

Training:
-Higher Degree Vocational Training in psychological, social, or educational disciplines
-Training in mediation, preferably in the residential field.
Experience:
-Minimum of one year of professional experience in accommodation-based programs with homeless people and/or other groups in exclusion (any type of facility and/or care program: supervised flats, autonomy flats, or similar resources).
-Professional experience in intervention with people in situations of social exclusion and/or homelessness with possible additional issues of drug addiction or mental health.
-Minimum of one year of professional experience in mediation processes.
Knowledge:
-Knowledge of the Housing First and Housing Led approaches and their principles, methodologies, and intervention tools centered on the person, recovery, and autonomy of individuals.
-User-level or higher computer knowledge (Windows environment)
