Requirements
What we're looking for
●Engineering degree, with Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering being highly valued.
●Knowledge of manufacturing and repair processes for aeronautical components (machining, welding, materials, and alloys).
●Experience in interpreting blueprints and technical documentation.
●Knowledge of metrology, dimensional inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT/END).
●Knowledge of surface treatments and protections.
●Experience or knowledge of industrial environments and workshops.
●Good level of English.
●General knowledge of gas engines/turbines and the aeronautical regulatory and certification environment.

The role
Would you like to develop your career as a Repair Engineer by participating in projects within the aeronautical sector?
At IDDTEK, we are looking to hire a professional with an Engineering background and an interest in the aeronautical industrial environment. The selected person will become part of our team, participating in the definition, development, and documentation of repairs for aircraft engine components, working together with specialists in processes, engineering, inspection, and technical publications.
What you'll do
The selected person will join the IDDTEK team to collaborate by performing functions such as:
●Preparing and updating Repair Notes / Repair Instructions (RN/RRI) and technical repair documentation.
●Developing and documenting new repair processes in collaboration with specialists in different technologies.
●Interpreting blueprints and technical requirements to define repair solutions.
●Defining repair processes associated with machining, welding, surface treatments, painting, inspections, and NDT/END.
●Defining dimensional controls, measurement methods, CMM needs, and inspection tooling.
●Coordinating and monitoring the various technical disciplines until the repairs are closed.
●Reviewing technical documentation prepared by Technical Publications and managing documentation associated with aeronautical programs.
