Receptionist

• Residency: Madrid.

• ESSENTIAL: Night Shift experience.

• Diploma in Tourism or Higher Level Vocational Training.

• English, high level (minimum required C1) written and conversational. Additional knowledge of another language is highly valued.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.

• Communication skills: guests will need to come to you with their concerns as well as their compliments, so you must be easy to talk to.

• Welcome IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or by telephone
• Take and manage guest reservations, offering sales opportunities and explaining ways to enhance their stay
• Manage cash and credit transactions
• Start every stay correctly by checking guests in and out: take identification, deliver room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
• Stay one step ahead of guest needs: record their preferences and act accordingly, and attend to their messages, requests, questions, and concerns
• Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from billing issues to local knowledge, and connect with management when necessary.
• Stay safe at all times. Following our security procedures, you will report all incidents and wear the necessary protective equipment
• Take pride in your appearance and in your role as a brand ambassador
• You will always know the day's events and activities
• Participate in other ad hoc tasks when your colleagues need your help
