Olive Mill Master

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience performing duties as an Olive Oil Mill Master or Production Manager in cooperatives or medium/high volume industrial mills.
• Higher Vocational Training (FP) in Food Industries, Processes and Quality in the Food Industry, or Technical Engineering/Degree qualifications (Agronomists or Agro-food).
• Accredited specific training as an Olive Oil Mill Master
• Deep mastery of the physicochemical process of olive oil extraction (two-phase and three-phase continuous systems).
• Advanced knowledge of olive mill management software, traceability, and scale control.
• Solid notions of electromechanical industrial maintenance.
• Leadership capacity, command skills, and management of operational teams under pressure during the campaign.
• Absolute orientation towards quality, continuous improvement, and a culture of detail.

At Grupo IMAN, we are looking for an Olive Oil Mill Master to guarantee the optimal reception, milling, and extraction of maximum quality extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), operationally leading the mill during the harvest campaign. The candidate will ensure maximum industrial efficiency, fat yield, strict traceability, and compliance with food safety and risk prevention regulations.

• Production Process Management: Comprehensive control and supervision of the reception, cleaning, weighing, milling, malaxation, centrifugation (horizontal and vertical), and storage lines.
• Parameter Optimization: Regulation of malaxation temperatures, process times, and flow rates to maximize industrial yield without compromising the organoleptic attributes of superior quality EVOO.
• Quality Control and Traceability: Supervision of olive classification (tree-picked, ground, organic), sample management, preliminary analysis, and control of decantation tanks.
• Leadership and Team Coordination: Organization of shifts and supervision of courtyard, cellar, and line personnel during high-intensity periods.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Coordination with the technical team for machinery setup prior to the campaign and agile resolution of mechanical or electrical incidents.
• Environmental Management and Sustainability: Control of alperujo (olive pomace) management, washing waters, and mill by-products in compliance with current legislation.
