The role

FROM IMAN TEMPORING, we are looking for a person with experience in the manufacture of metal packaging to join our plant as responsible for the operation, configuration, setup, and supervision of complete 3P food-grade packaging lines.

You will work with all the line equipment: shear, feeder, welder, weld quality monitoring system, seam coating system, oven, conveyors, flanging, seaming, closer, palletizer, and other associated equipment.

What you'll do

Perform the complete format change of the 3-piece line: adjustment of guides, forming rollers, height, container diameter, etc.
Configure and calibrate the electrical and mechanical parameters of the welder according to the technical specifications of the tinplate.
Supervise the application of the side stripe varnish, interior and exterior, and ensure correct curing in the oven.
Perform quality controls and periodic in-line inspections: destructive mechanical tests (tear test), overlap control, and airtightness.
Guarantee the preventive and corrective maintenance of the assigned machinery: cleaning of rollers, copper wire guiding, clearing of jams.
Coordinate the line's auxiliary personnel and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations (PPE) and order in the area.
