What you'll get

Immediate start, with an initially temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, at the workplace located in Ribeira. The salary will start at €18,500 gross per year without experience, with the possibility of review based on the candidate's merit and career path.

The role

The selected person will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of metal container manufacturing machinery, ensuring the correct functioning of the production line and guaranteeing the required standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

What you'll do

Maintenance and operation of metal container manufacturing machinery: drawing presses, gumming machines, ovens, sealing machines, inspection equipment, and packaging machines.
Performing adjustments, corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as format changes and improvement proposals.
Assembly and start-up of the production line, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Training in Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training Cycles in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Automotive, Shipbuilding, Electrical, Electromechanics, or Automation.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Experience with Alfons Haar and/or Soudronic machinery will be valued.
Experience working with aluminum containers, mechanical lathes, machining, and tooling will be valued.
Knowledge of English or other languages will be positively valued.
