Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a laboratory technician in research institutions, in a multinational and multicultural environment, and/or in the management of a workshop with similar characteristics.
  • Previous experience in the processing of metal alloys and polymer matrix composite materials.
  • Experience in the machining of Ni-Ti superalloys, metal alloys with aerospace and automotive applications, and composite materials, using both machine tools and hand tools.
  • Experience in EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining).
  • Experience in handling 3D printers (Prusa, Ultimaker, Makerbot, etc.)
  • Experience in TIG welding, both in steels, stainless steels, and aluminum.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proactivity, and orientation toward teamwork.

Initiative, flexibility, and ability for problem-solving.

Education & certifications

  • Intermediate vocational training in machining.

Languages

What you'll do

The main tasks of the position are the following:

  • Design and machining of tooling for material testing, cutting of composite materials, as well as adjustment and repair of tooling and equipment.
  • Design and manufacture of prototypes using polymer matrix additive manufacturing techniques.
  • General tasks regarding management and maintenance of workshop equipment and compliance with risk prevention regulations within the workshop.
