Requirements
What we're looking for
- Higher Level Vocational Training in Analytical Laboratory and Quality Control, Industrial Chemistry, or similar
- Knowledge of chemical analysis and material testing
- Ability to interpret results and perform quality controls
- Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts
- Methodical, rigorous person with attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Valuable experience in an industrial, metallurgical, or foundry laboratory

The role
Currently, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join a company in the industrial sector. Does this suit you?
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
What you'll do
- Sampling and preparation of molten metal samples for subsequent analysis
- Performing mechanical and chemical testing on materials and manufactured parts
- Fabrication and machining of test specimens using a lathe
- Metallographic analysis of specimens to verify material quality
- Chemical composition analysis using laboratory equipment
- Performing tensile, impact, moisture, strength, and permeability tests
- Recording results and preparing laboratory reports.
- Collaboration with the production and quality departments to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
