About the role

The internship in the Environment area at Mediotec offers the opportunity to learn first-hand how an environmental projects consultancy works. Students will collaborate with the team on tasks related to environmental assessment and monitoring of projects, soil and groundwater management, processing of environmental permits and licenses, as well as support for impact and sustainability studies.

In addition, they will be able to participate in the use of GIS tools and environmental cartography, in carbon footprint and climate change projects, and in innovation and R&D&I activities linked to the circular economy and sustainability.

The goal is for students to gain a practical, cross-cutting view of working in environmental consulting, developing technical and professional skills in a real-world project environment.

Requirements

Final-year students or recent graduates in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering or related degrees with an interest in environmental consulting and the integration of projects into infrastructure and land use planning.

The following will be especially valued

Training or experience in birdlife (avifauna) (courses, master's degrees, or related internships).
Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), both in QGIS and ArcGIS.
