As a leading company in the Defense sector, we are looking to hire a GIS Open Source Architect specialized in open source geospatial technologies and GIS infrastructure management to participate in strategic C2 Cyber projects. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team leading the definition, evolution, and maintenance of advanced geospatial architectures, ensuring the availability, integration, and efficiency of critical GIS services for the organization.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and maintain GIS architectures based on open source technologies alongside development and DevOps teams, covering the geospatial technology stack of projects.

• Manage and administer geospatial services, ensuring their availability, performance, and scalability.

• Design and implement geospatial ETL processes using tools such as FME, GDAL, and automation scripts.

• Automate geospatial data processing workflows using orchestration solutions such as Apache Airflow.

• Implement validation mechanisms, quality control, and geospatial data governance in production environments.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in GIS services.

• Design integration solutions based on broker patterns for geospatial data environments.

• Manage deployments on virtualized and containerized environments using Docker.

• Administer and optimize GeoServer and other map publishing services.
