Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (electronics specialisation) or Electronic Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in communications systems engineering or radio engineering.
Experience with SDR radio architectures.
Knowledge of waveforms, data links, and radio communications.
Experience with RF architectures and digital signal processing.
Experience working with systems engineering standards (IEEE 15288, 15289, MIL-STD-498).
Experience in international projects and collaborative environments.
Experience in technical leadership of engineering teams.
Advanced English level.

Nice to have

Knowledge of digital hardware architectures and VHDL.
Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS).
Experience in tactical communications or military radios.
Knowledge of modulations, frequency conversion, and signal processing.

The role

📡 Do you have experience in radio communications systems and SDR architectures and are you interested in leading the development of advanced tactical communications solutions in international projects?

💻 We are looking for a Systems Engineer / Technical Manager to lead the development of the AI-WASP Radio System, acting as the technical reference for the system and point of contact with the international consortium.

The selected candidate will lead the engineering team, participating in the definition of the architecture, specification of requirements, and system development, in advanced military communications environments.

What you'll do

Act as technical lead for the AI-WASP radio system.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Technically represent the project before the international consortium and partners.
Define architectures for radio communications and SDR systems.
Participate in the specification, design, and development of the system following systems engineering standards.
Oversee the technical evolution of the project and achievement of milestones.
Define and manage system requirements and technical documentation (SRS, SSS, SSDD, etc.).
Collaborate on the design of waveforms, RF architectures, and digital signal processing.
