We are looking to hire an SQA - Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of our suppliers, leading complaint management and structured problem-solving through continuous improvement methodologies. You will be a key player in the validation of mechanical and electronic products, collaborating cross-functionally with different areas of the organization to guarantee the highest quality standards.

What you'll do

• Manage supplier complaints, from their creation to their effective follow-up and closure.

• Lead analysis and problem-solving processes using Problem Solving methodologies and tools such as the 8D methodology.

• Coordinate the identification of root causes and ensure the implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

• Review and validate First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation, ensuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.

• Participate in the approval of first samples and supplier industrialization processes.

• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

• Monitor supplier performance and promote improvement plans when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards applicable to mechanical and electronic products.

✅ Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

✅ 3 to 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality roles.

✅ Knowledge and experience in 8D methodology and Problem Solving.

✅ Experience in FAI, PPAP validation, and quality tools.

✅ Ability to perform root cause analysis and manage corrective actions.

✅ Intermediate technical English level.

✅ Leadership, negotiation, analytical skills, and teamwork.

✅ Availability to work on-site in Asturias.
