- Ability to produce clear solution architecture documentation and to defend decisions before technical, business, security, and management committees.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and complex client environments.
Nice to have
Desired qualifications
- Experience in CRM modernization, Customer Service, Field Service, Contact Center, and intelligent process automation.
- Experience in enterprise agents, RAG, tool orchestration, AI evaluation, guardrails, and GenAI solution observability.
- Associate or Expert level certifications related to Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, data, AI, or cybersecurity.
- Experience in pre-sales, estimation, defining offers, leading workshops, and presenting to executive stakeholders.
- Professional English and excellent communication, negotiation, facilitation, and influence skills.
The role
Design and leadership of end-to-end enterprise solutions on Microsoft Cloud, focusing on applications, data, AI, integration, security, governance, and adoption.
ROLE PURPOSE To convert business priorities into secure, scalable, governed, and measurable Microsoft solutions. Infrastructure is considered an enabler and a design constraint, not the main focus of the profile.
Mission
Lead the definition, validation, and evolution of solution architectures based on Microsoft technologies, connecting business strategy, user experience, processes, applications, data, and artificial intelligence. Act as a trusted interlocutor between business, technical teams, security, data, and operations, ensuring that architectural decisions generate value, reduce risk, and enable sustainable adoption.
What you'll do
Main responsibilities
Solution discovery and definition
- Understand business objectives, processes, users, constraints, success metrics, and the client's existing capabilities.
- Translate ambiguous needs into prioritized use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, value hypotheses, acceptance criteria, and solution roadmaps.
- Define the vision, principles, and target architecture, including alternatives, dependencies, risks, decisions, and design trade-offs.
End-to-end functional and technical architecture
- Design composable solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, and Azure services.
- Define the interaction between channels, processes, applications, data, AI models, agents, APIs, events, and identities, maintaining traceability between business needs and solution components.
- Apply Well-Architected patterns and principles to balance security, reliability, performance, experience, operability, and cost, according to the context of each workload.
Enterprise applications and process transformation
- Design Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions in Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service, including the modernization or replacement of CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Define Contact Center as a Service solutions and integrated service experiences, combining self-service, human agents, knowledge, automation, and analytics.
- Leverage Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and connectors to digitalize processes, avoiding unnecessary development and reserving pro-code extensibility for differential requirements.
Copilot, agents, and generative AI
- Design enterprise agents and copilots grounded in authorized data, with tools, actions, orchestration, memory, and scaling or human intervention mechanisms.
- Define information retrieval patterns, RAG, secure use of APIs and function calls, as well as offline and online evaluations of quality, grounding, security, and business impact.
- Manage AI-specific risks, such as prompt injection, data leaks, hallucinations, unsafe responses, bias, latency, consumption, and non-deterministic behavior.
Data, analytics, and integration
- Design data architectures for analytics and AI with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, including Lakehouse patterns, governance, catalog, quality, lineage, and data access.
- Define integrations through APIs, connectors, events, and integration services, establishing contracts, security, observability, resilience, and error handling.
- Ensure that solutions reuse corporate capabilities and integrate coherently with both Microsoft and non-Microsoft business ecosystems.
Security, governance, and compliance
- Incorporate security and privacy by design: identity, authorization, segregation of duties, data protection, auditing, traceability, and compliance.
- Define governance models for environments, solutions, data, agents, connectors, and lifecycles, aligned with corporate policies and clear responsibilities.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure specialists to validate landing zones, connectivity, capacity, continuity, and operations, without shifting the role's focus toward infrastructure architecture.
Delivery, adoption, and operation
- Lead the full cycle: discovery, design, prototyping, construction, evaluation, deployment, adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
- Drive POCs and MVPs oriented toward validating value and risk, and evolving them into productive solutions through engineering practices.
- Prepare architecture documentation, decisions, integration models, non-functional requirements, deployment guides, and runbooks; facilitate knowledge transfer and pattern reuse.
Client leadership and pre-sales
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions with executive, functional, and technical stakeholders, communicating options and trade-offs in an understandable way.
- Contribute to proposals, estimates, delivery plans, and team definitions, ensuring coherence between scope, architecture, value, costs, risks, and schedule.
- Act as a reference during execution, governing decisions and avoiding deviations from the vision and expected results.
Distinction from an infrastructure profile
This role does not have the primary responsibility of designing networks, sizing servers, administering operating systems, operating IaaS platforms, or defining base infrastructure in detail. It must understand these matters and coordinate with the corresponding specialists to ensure viability, security, connectivity, resilience, and operation. Its differentiating responsibility is to design the complete enterprise solution and govern how Microsoft capabilities solve business processes and results.
Microsoft areas of specialization
Dynamics 365 CE, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Dataverse, and CRM replacement scenarios.
Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, connectors, ALM, governance, and low-code/pro-code extensibility.
Extensibility, agents, Microsoft Graph, enterprise grounding, actions, governance, and adoption.
Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Search, RAG, AI evaluation, and operation.
APIs, connectors, events, automation, and interoperability patterns between Microsoft and third-party platforms.
Identity and access, data protection, auditing, compliance, and governance of environments, solutions, and agents.
