Prompt Engineer (LLMs & AI Evaluation)

Essential requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or STEM disciplines.
• Equivalent practical experience in Artificial Intelligence projects will be valued.
• Technical knowledge of Generative AI (Prompt Engineering, LLMs, Generative AI, prompt evaluation techniques, iterative prompt optimization, few-shot prompting, Chain of Thought Prompting, Structured Prompting).
• Previous experience working with Generative AI models, design and optimization of prompts for LLMs, evaluation and comparison of responses generated by AI models.
• Experience collaborating with functional users or business teams, in Agile or technological innovation environments.
• Programming: Advanced Python, automation through Python scripts

At Inetum, we are looking to hire a Senior Prompt Engineer to participate in a strategic Generative Artificial Intelligence project.

The selected person will work alongside functional and business teams, helping to optimize interaction with Generative Artificial Intelligence models by designing, refining, and evaluating advanced prompts to maximize the quality of the results obtained.

Additionally, they will participate in benchmarking and comparative evaluation initiatives of different LLM (Large Language Models), contributing to identifying the most suitable solutions for business needs.

To this end, they will receive specific training on the functional processes and data structures used, allowing them to acquire the necessary context to build high-value AI-based solutions.

They will work in an international environment, collaborating with teams located in the United Kingdom, Spain, and India.

Main responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize prompts for different business use cases.
• Refine and evolve existing prompts to improve precision, relevance, and response quality.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into generative AI-based solutions.
• Analyze results obtained from different LLM models.
• Define methodologies for the evaluation and quality measurement of prompts.
• Perform A/B testing of prompts and compare behaviors between models.
• Evaluate different LLMs using the same prompt sets to determine the most suitable model according to each business objective.
• Document findings, best practices, and reusable patterns.
• Automate tests and evaluations through scripts and supporting tools.
• Participate in sessions with international teams in English.
• Contribute to the adoption of Prompt Engineering best practices within the organization.
