Team Lead IT Operations

Strong hands-on experience in Linux environments; Windows experience is a plus Solid experience leading or coordinating an IT operations/infrastructure team in a hands-on, player-coach role, remaining actively involved in day-to-day technical operations, including troubleshooting complex Linux, cloud, container and infrastructure issues alongside the team. Good understanding of networking, operating systems, infrastructure and production application dependencies. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS; OCI experience is a strong plus Practical experience operating containerized environments and Kubernetes, including troubleshooting workloads, deployments and platform issues. Strong automation mindset, with experience in scripting and configuration/infrastructure automation using tools such as Bash, Python, Ansible, Puppet and/or Terraform. Experience with monitoring and observability across metrics, logs, alerting and dashboards, using technologies such as Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch and Zabbix. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps ways of working. Practical understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices, particularly incident, problem and change management. A strong sense of ownership and accountability: mentality to get things done and drive issues through to resolution. Curiosity and a willingness to challenge existing approaches constructively and continuously look for opportunities to simplify.
