The role

At INTERTEK, we are looking for experienced mechanical inspectors to collaborate on ad hoc inspections at various clients located in Catalonia. The main tasks include technical supervision, quality verification in manufacturing and assembly, and preparation of reports in accordance with current regulations and client specifications.

What you'll do

We are looking for self-employed professionals who are organized and willing to travel within the region.

Requirements

Technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) or similar
Previous experience in mechanical inspection (welding, structures, valves, pressure equipment, etc.)
Knowledge of applicable standards (EN, ASME, ISO...)
Ability to write technical reports in Spanish (English is also valued)
Valid driver's license B and availability for travel
Valued: welding courses, certifications (VT, PT, MT), experience in third-party inspections
