The role

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire a Quality Control Installations Technician to join our Industry division in Barcelona.

What you'll do

The selected person will participate in projects involving quality control, commissioning, startup, and testing of installations in various construction sites and renovations, verifying that the executed installations comply with applicable regulations and the specifications defined in the project.

Perform inspections and testing of installations on-site.
Review the documentation and the project corresponding to each installation.
Check the traceability of the executed installations.
Verify that the execution of the installations corresponds to what is defined in the project.
Check compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Participate in commissioning and startup processes of installations.
Perform testing of different systems and installations depending on the project.
Complete field reports and documentation with the inspection results.
Communicate reports and results to the corresponding manager.
Participate in different construction sites and projects within the Barcelona metropolitan area.
Receive internal training to expand knowledge regarding different installation disciplines and systems.
