Creative thinking and performance copywriting - Priority #1. Your portfolio demonstrates performance-oriented digital advertising, not just visually attractive pieces.
Project management - Priority #2. You are an organized, methodical, and autonomous person working remotely. You know how to structure projects, manage priorities, and coordinate other profiles to deliver on time.
Demonstrable experience in creative strategy for Meta Ads, ideally in performance marketing environments.

At Ironhack, we are looking for a freelance Performance Creative Strategist who combines creative thinking, copywriting, and performance-oriented strategy. Someone who understands digital advertising from idea to result: someone who knows how to identify an insight, convert it into a powerful creative concept, and translate it into ads capable of capturing attention, generating interest, and converting.
You will work hand in hand with our graphic designer to turn ideas into creatives ready to test, learn, and scale. Autonomy and creative judgment are key: we expect you to detect the opportunity, develop the idea, and give clear direction to design through to execution.
Performance creative and copywriting: you will develop concepts, hooks, headlines, body copy, and CTAs oriented toward conversion, starting from the pain points and motivations of our audience (career change, employability, professional progression). You will be responsible for the final creative and strategic judgment.
Connecting data and creativity: together with the Marketing team, you will use metrics such as CTR, CPA, CVR, and frequency to detect opportunities and convert them into new hypotheses, angles, formats, and creative variations.
Creative direction and briefing: you do not need to be a designer, but you must have solid visual and advertising judgment. You will create briefs and/or wireframes indicating what the piece must communicate, what must capture attention, what the message hierarchy is, and which elements should stand out. You will provide feedback and direct iterations until the final creative is reached.
Creative research and innovation: you will continuously research Meta Ad Library, TikTok, and other sources to identify trends, formats, and opportunities, analyzing direct and indirect competitors while always respecting our Brandbook and positioning.
Project management: you will manage the creative process from start to finish: planning ideas, briefs, coordination with design, monitoring deliverables, and preparing final assets for launch, meeting agreed deadlines.
Modality: Freelance · 100% remote (Spain / EU, CET schedule)
To evaluate your candidacy, include a portfolio with examples of performance creative. Whenever possible, add not only the pieces and the copy, but also the test context, the objective, and the results (CTR, CPA, CVR, or other relevant metrics).
We are interested in understanding what problem you were trying to solve, what your creative hypothesis was, how you arrived at the concept, what you executed, and what you learned. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Application: answer the selection questions and include the link to your portfolio in your CV.
Practical case: we will send it to you by email (estimated 45-60 minutes of work).
Interview: defense of the practical case and review of a real project from your portfolio and its results.
