Requirements

What we're looking for

  • More than 3 years of experience designing and deploying MongoDB in production environments.
  • Experience with Replica Sets and Sharded Clusters, including maintenance and high availability operations.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux administration, storage, networking, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in security, authentication, encryption, and access control in MongoDB.
  • Experience in backup, restoration, monitoring, and automation strategies.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MongoDB Enterprise and Ops Manager.
  • Knowledge of Terraform.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms.
  • Experience in projects within regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, or healthcare.

The role

We are looking for a MongoDB Platform Engineer to join a stable project, with an indefinite contract and 100% remote working modality.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement MongoDB architectures in production environments, guaranteeing their scalability and performance.
  • Manage deployments on Linux virtual machines, optimizing system, storage, and network configurations.
  • Define and implement high availability, security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Automate deployments using Ansible or other infrastructure as code tools.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and document operating procedures and best practices.
