Requirements

What we're looking for

More than 3 years of experience designing and deploying Confluent Platform or Apache Kafka in production.
Solid knowledge of Kafka architecture: partitioning, replication, KRaft, retention and compaction.
Experience in automated deployments with Ansible (cp-ansible) or equivalent tools.
Advanced Linux administration, including system tuning, storage and networking.
Experience in security, monitoring and operation of large-scale clusters.

Nice to have

Valuable experience with Cluster Linking, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, virtualized environments and regulated sectors such as banking, insurance or healthcare.

The role

At Logicalis Spain we are looking for a Confluent Platform Engineer. The Logicalis Data & Analytics team works with national and international clients, carrying out important projects in data engineering, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, data strategy, governance, integration and architecture, covering the entire data lifecycle.

What you'll do

Design and implement Confluent Platform and Apache Kafka architectures in production environments.
Guarantee the high availability, resilience and security of the platform through architectural and operational best practices.
Automate deployments and configurations on Linux VMs using Ansible and infrastructure tools.
Define and implement monitoring, governance and cluster administration solutions.
Document procedures and provide technical support to development and operations teams.
