Planning Engineer

You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of a VSM within the Statics and Structures area. Your mission will be to ensure the correct planning, coordination, and control of the production of the assigned line, guaranteeing compliance with delivery, quality, and efficiency objectives.

• You will plan, schedule, and control the production of your assigned line.
• You will lead coordination meetings and participate in internal daily short cycles.
• You will collaborate directly with the customer to follow up on delivery plans.
• You will prepare production reports, ensuring that all involved parties are aware of the planning status and execution objectives.
• You will implement control systems, alarms, and KPIs that allow for the tracking of part status and guarantee compliance with the plans.
• You will work transversally with the Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering teams, promoting a preventive approach to problem-solving.
• You will be responsible for the analysis of the line's load capacity and for inventory monitoring.

Education: University degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Organization.

Experience: You have previous experience as a Planning Engineer in production lines or in a similar position.

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
• Experience in production planning and control.
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing will be valued.
• Knowledge of programming, Excel VBA, MES, Power BI will be valued

Languages:
English - English level B2/C1

You will work hand in hand with the Statics and Structures Planning Manager, as well as with the Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering teams in the Statics Operations Unit, located in Zamudio.
