Requirements

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Software Engineer Java with at least 5 years of experience, who is open to a 50% hybrid model in Calle Velázquez, Madrid.

Solid experience in backend development with Java (JDK 8 mandatory, JDK 17 valued)
Experience in microservices architectures
Experience in event-driven systems and messaging
Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Experience with Docker and containers
Linux environments (shell scripting, packaging)
Experience in automated testing
Familiarity with agile methodologies (SCRUM)

Languages

Fluent English (minimum C1, essential for an international environment)

What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement business-critical Java backend applications
Build scalable microservices architectures
Develop event-based distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ...)
Apply software engineering best practices and maintain high code quality
Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance)
Participate in the packaging and automated deployment of applications
Collaborate on product innovation (prototypes, functional and technical design)
Work under agile methodologies (Scrum), ensuring value delivery
