Requirements

What we're looking for

Knowledge of Ansible: playbooks, roles, and collections.
Basic or intermediate knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and/or AWX.
Familiarity with Rundeck, Jenkins, or equivalent automation and orchestration tools.
Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and integrations.
Knowledge of Git, branches, and Pull Requests.
Familiarity with REST APIs and integration systems.
Knowledge of Linux.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow Architecture standards.
Ability to develop automations following quality and reuse best practices.

Nice to have

Experience with AAP, AWX, or Rundeck.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
Knowledge of CI/CD.

The role

At Logicalis Spain we are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer to join the Automation team and participate in the development, maintenance, and evolution of automation solutions.

The selected person will work with technologies such as Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), AWX, Rundeck, Terraform, and Python, collaborating with Architecture, Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams and following the technical guidelines and standards defined by senior profiles.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain Ansible-based automations using reusable playbooks, roles, and collections.
Participate in the administration and evolution of platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), AWX, and Rundeck.
Collaborate in the migration and modernization of existing automations toward corporate platforms.
Create and maintain Job Templates, Projects, Inventories, Credentials, and Workflows.
Update and refactor legacy automations.
Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of shared automation libraries.
Provide support for incidents related to existing automations.
Perform troubleshooting tasks and error analysis.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams.
Participate in technical migrations following the standards defined by Architecture.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation platforms.
Document developments, procedures, and solutions.
