About the role

We are looking for an IT Manager for SAP Commercial and Distribution to lead the creation and consolidation of a new strategic area resulting from the merger of 6 existing teams. This person will be responsible for unifying the vision, processes and work culture of these teams, ensuring operational continuity while driving a transformation focused on improving service quality.

This is a role with a strong change management component, where the ability to build relationships, generate trust and align people with different backgrounds will be just as important as technical knowledge.

What you'll do

  • Lead the integration of the 6 teams into a single cohesive area, defining structure, roles and operating model.

    • Manage a team of 30 professionals, including team leads and functional profiles.

    • Act as the point of contact with business areas (Commercial Channels and Distribution) to understand their needs and translate them into SAP solutions.

    • Define and implement quality standards in delivery, including development, testing and documentation best practices.

    • Drive continuous process improvement in the SAP SD and MM modules and related areas of the commercial and distribution chain.

    • Establish and monitor area performance KPIs: quality, response times, internal customer satisfaction.

    • Manage backlog prioritization and area capacity planning in coordination with management.

    • Develop team talent: career plans, training, performance evaluation and retention.

    • Collaborate on the technological evolution strategy of the SAP ecosystem

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in SAP environments, with solid functional knowledge of the SD and MM modules.

    • At least 5 years in leadership positions managing teams of more than 20 people.

    • Experience in sectors with complex distribution chains (retail, consumer goods, logistics).

    • Proven experience in organizational change management: team mergers, restructurings or creation of new areas.

    • Ability to interact with business stakeholders at executive level, translating functional needs into technical solutions.

    • Clear focus on service quality and continuous process improvement.
