Civil Works Engineer (M/F/X) From ManpowerGroup, through our department specialized in technical and Engineering profiles, we are looking to recruit a Civil Works Engineer for an engineering company with projects linked to the development of infrastructure and civil works in Barcelona. You will participate in projects involving roads, railways, stations, urbanizations, and urban developments, working mainly on the preparation of technical documentation, measurements, budgets, and project supervision. Your main responsibilities will be: Preparation of measurements, price schedules, and budgets for civil works projects. Drafting of technical annexes related to price justification, contractor classification, hydrology, and drainage. Preparation of technical specification documents, health and safety studies, work plans, and quality control documentation. Development of documentation related to construction procedures, traffic diversions, affected services, and expropriations. Consulting BIM models and extracting measurements for the preparation of budgets. Coordinating the preparation of plans corresponding to the different technical disciplines. Carrying out supervision reports for civil works projects. Support in the drafting of technical methodologies for bids. Collaboration with the rest of the technical team in the development of projects. The position is especially oriented towards the drafting and technical development of civil works projects, with special importance on the preparation of measurements and budgets, rather than on execution or field site supervision functions. What are we looking for in you? Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering (Caminos, Canales y Puertos). Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting civil works projects. Experience in the preparation of measurements and budgets using tools such as PRESTO or TCQ. Experience working with BIM methodology, especially in model consultation and measurement extraction. Experience in modeling is not necessary. C1 level of Catalan is essential. Ability to prepare and review technical documentation. Organizational skills, teamwork, and coordination with different disciplines. We will positively value: Experience in road, railway, station, urbanization, or urban development projects. Knowledge and handling of TCQ. Experience in the preparation of technical specification documents and construction procedures. Knowledge of expropriation annexes, affected services, and health and safety. Good level of English. Previous experience in engineering companies or technical consultancies specialized in infrastructure. What do we offer? Flexible schedule, with entry between 8:00 and 09:00 and intensive working days on Fridays. Intensive working days in July and August. Location in Barcelona.
