The role

Are you a Civil Engineer and are you motivated to continue growing professionally in the development of civil works projects and construction management in a consolidated engineering firm in Barcelona?

What you'll do

Developing and drafting infrastructure projects of various types (urban developments, footbridges and small bridges, hydraulic works, flood studies, etc.), from preliminary design and basic design to detailed design.
Leading the construction management of the projects in charge, ensuring that the contractor complies with the project specifications and offering technical solutions for any unforeseen events that may arise.
Performing structural calculations and preliminary calculations using Cype (piers, retaining walls, box culverts, footbridges, slabs, columns, precast elements, etc.).
Defining project requirements together with the client, advising them and proposing optimal solutions.
Comprehensive management of self-promotion projects such as single-family residences, multi-family residences, or industrial warehouses, including the design and construction phases.
Defining the most suitable type of materials that comply with the corresponding regulations and project specifications.
Participating in meetings with clients of the projects in which you are involved.
Reporting periodically to company management and clients on the progress of projects.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Civil Engineering degree, Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or similar.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a civil engineering company as a designer, project manager, or in the construction management department.
Experience related to hydraulic works, structures, and urban development projects will be highly valued.
Strong knowledge of structural calculation and related software (Cype, SAP2000, etc.).
Bilingual Spanish and Catalan valued.
Residence in or willingness to relocate to Barcelona or its surrounding area.
We are looking for a versatile, proactive, analytical person with strong decision-making skills.
