Civil Works Project Technician

At IDP we are growing! That is why we need to bring in a Civil Works Project Technician to expand our current team.

If so, we are looking for you!

• Drafting written documentation for civil works and urban development projects: preparing reports, specifications, measurements, budgets, and other required documents.
• Carrying out designs and developing technological solutions according to the needs identified.
• Reporting to the Project Manager (PM) on the proper progress of the tasks/projects assigned to them.
• Monitoring and controlling the project in coordination with the project managers.
• Attending on-site meetings as part of the Technical Assistance team alongside the Site Management (DF).
• Collaborating with the technical studies department to prepare bids.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar projects.
• Knowledge of TCQ, Presto, or similar software, and MS Project.
• Advanced office software skills, AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Education: preferably a degree in Civil Engineering or Roads, Canals, and Ports Engineering.
• B2 English is a plus.
• Availability for occasional travel

• Redacción de la documentación escrita de proyectos de obra civil y urbanización: elaboración de memorias, pliegos de condiciones, mediciones, presupuestos y otros documentos requeridos.
• Realizar diseños y desarrollar soluciones tecnológicas de acuerdo con las necesidades planteadas.
• Reportar al director de proyecto (PM) el correcto avance de las tareas/proyectos que le sean asignados.
• Seguimiento y control del proyecto en coordinación con los responsables de proyecto.
• Asistir a reuniones de obra como parte de la Asistencia Técnica junto con la DF.
• Colaboración con el departamento de estudios técnicos para la preparación de ofertas.

• Experiencia mínima de 3 años en proyectos similares.
• Conocimiento de TCQ, Presto o similares, MS Project.
• Conocimiento Ofimática Avanzada, AutoCAD, valorables conocimientos BIM.
• Formación: preferiblemente Ingeniería Civil o Caminos.
• Valorable Inglés B2.
• Disponibilidad para viajar puntualmente
