Solution Development Expert

End-to-end responsibility for development and implementation projects within the investment management and distribution field, combining project management with functional analysis and requirements definition.

• Direct software development projects from start to finish: scope, planning, budget, risks, dependencies, quality, implementation, and stabilization.
• Perform functional analysis: needs assessment, process modeling, requirements definition, use cases, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development, data, integration, architecture, and testing teams.
• Coordinate internal teams and providers; organize follow-ups, resolve blockers, and communicate status to technical and business stakeholders.
• Plan and supervise functional, integrated, and user testing, as well as migrations, reconciliations, and production deployment.
• Ensure traceability between need, requirement, development, testing, and delivery, maintaining functional and operational documentation.
• Participate in the evolution and implementation of the application ecosystem that serves the operations of the investment area.
• Manage relevant incidents and the transition to maintenance, promoting process improvements, control, and efficiency.

• 5 years of experience in software development projects, combining project management and functional analysis.
• 5 years of experience in projects for investment/pension fund managers, investment product distribution entities to end clients, or other entities dedicated to investing in financial assets.
• 5 years of experience working with IT teams and as a regular interlocutor for business areas.
• Valuable: experience in the implementation or evolution of portfolio management platforms, middle office, back office, valuation, risk management, compliance, or integrated front-to-middle-to-back solutions.
• Valuable: experience in investment accounting systems or distribution and advisory platforms.
