Financial Controller

• Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Management Control positions, preferably in industrial environments.
• Solid knowledge of financial and analytical accounting.
• Advanced mastery of Excel (financial models, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.).
• Experience working with ERP at an advanced level.
• High level of Catalan and Spanish.
• Advanced level of English (B2/C1).

• Master's in Finance, Management Control, or MBA is valued.
• Experience in international groups, external audit, or the electronic/electrical industrial sector is valued.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI is valued.

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated industrial company located in Sant Celoni, which is looking to incorporate a Financial Controller to lead management control, financial reporting, and the supervision of domestic and international customer credit.

This is a strategic position that will have a key role in Management decision-making, driving financial planning, results analysis, and the continuous improvement of the economic-financial processes of the company and its subsidiaries.

• Coordinate and prepare the company's annual budget (income statement, balance sheet, investments, and treasury).
• Design and prepare monthly reporting for Management: analytical income statement, dashboard, and KPI indicators.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for the group companies.
• Implement and develop analytical accounting for budget monitoring and cost control.
• Participate in monthly and annual accounting closings, managing accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and management analysis.
• Supervise the reconciliation between analytical and financial accounting.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors and the preparation of official statistical information.
• Monitor working capital, proposing improvement actions regarding inventory, customers, and suppliers.
• Manage customer risk control, credit limits, and the monitoring of blocked orders.
• Prepare export documentation, documentary credits, insolvency proceedings, and bad debt customer files.
• Collaborate with Treasury in the preparation of cash forecasts.
• Define and ensure compliance with internal control procedures, acting as a key user of the ERP and driving Business Intelligence tools.
