Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Telecommunications, or similar.

• Experience designing data architectures and analytical platforms.

• Knowledge of Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, or Big Data architectures.

• Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).

• Experience with Apache Iceberg, dbt, PySpark, or modern data ecosystems is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.

The role

At Paul, we are collaborating with one of the country's most important distribution and food companies, which is undergoing an ambitious technological transformation, in the search for a Data Architect (Lakehouse & Analytics) to join the technology area of a major retail sector company.

You will be part of the technological transformation process of one of the country's most important distribution companies, participating in strategic projects related to data platforms, cloud architectures, and advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with an end client, in a stable, collaborative environment with real capacity to influence the organization's technological evolution.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve the corporate data platform architecture based on Lakehouse environments.

• Define models and standards that allow data to be leveraged for advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

• Lead the technological evolution of the data platform and participate in defining the Data strategy.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to develop new solutions.

• Ensure data quality, availability, and governance.

• Evaluate new technologies related to Data, Cloud, and Analytics.

• Drive continuous improvement of the platform and the adoption of new architectures.
