What we're looking for

Training in Civil, Agricultural, Agronomic Engineering, or similar.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and blueprint reading.
Interest in irrigation systems, hydraulic installations, and civil works execution.
Capacity for organization, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Commitment, desire to learn, and the will to develop a stable career path.
Driving license and own vehicle to get to the company.
Availability to travel to worksites within the province.

Nice to have

Experience in irrigation projects, channeling, hydraulic installations, or civil works.
Knowledge of measurements, budgets, and cost control.
Experience coordinating teams and subcontractors.
Training in occupational risk prevention applied to construction.

Previous experience will be valued, although profiles with a good technical foundation and development potential will also be considered.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an established company located in Fraga, specializing in irrigation projects and installations, hydraulic networks, and water conveyance, which needs to hire a Project and Site Engineer.

This is a stable, long-term project, within a team with extensive experience and a willingness to train new hires. We will value both professionals with a proven track record and profiles who are starting their careers and bring commitment, initiative, and a desire to learn.

What you'll do

Participate in technical planning and project monitoring, combining technical office work with on-site presence and the coordination of the resources necessary for execution.

Participate in the planning, design, and monitoring of irrigation installations and hydraulic networks.
Prepare and review plans, measurements, and technical documentation.
Plan execution phases and forecast the needs for materials, machinery, and personnel.
Coordinate, at assigned sites, a team of approximately 4-5 construction laborers, in addition to subcontracted companies.
Supervise the progress of the works and verify their compliance with technical requirements.
Perform cost monitoring and detect possible deviations, in coordination with purchasing and company managers.
Resolve technical incidents and maintain communication with suppliers, installers, and clients.
Collaborate in the monitoring of quality and safety measures on-site.
