Requirements

What we're looking for

You have a Higher Level Vocational Training degree (FP II) in Mechanics, Electricity, or a similar specialty.
You bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within the plastic injection sector.
You have native command of Catalan and Spanish to correctly manage the team.
You reside in La Garrotxa or within a radius of less than 50 km from the city of Olot.
You demonstrate leadership skills, high organizational capacity, autonomy, and dynamism.

Nice to have

You have knowledge of computing, hydraulics, pneumatics, molds, or basic robot programming. (valuable)

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a company located in La Garrotxa specializing in the design and manufacture of high-precision plastic components. They currently need to incorporate a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

What you'll do

The selected person will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks autonomously and reporting to the different departments:

You will autonomously supervise and execute the production of the line or the production rooms under your responsibility.
You will guarantee compliance with the Production Plan, manufacturing standards, and the required quality requirements.
You will resolve manufacturing incidents on the line, both operational and of a technical and management nature.
You will execute mold changes and perform the setup of machinery, tools, and robots.
You will actively lead and coordinate a team of between 5 and 7 production operators.
You will optimize processes by collaborating with the Maintenance Department to improve the efficiency and reliability of the machines and with the Logistics Department to ensure the availability of materials and packaging within your shift and room.
