Accounting Clerk

• Previous experience in administrative and/or accounting roles.

• Ability to manage an invoicing volume of approximately 300 invoices per month.

• Good command of office software tools.

• Minimum English level B2 (spoken and written).

• Organized, methodical, discreet, and detail-oriented person.

• Teamwork skills, problem-solving ability, and proactivity.

• Knowledge of ERP (Navision / Business Central) will be valued.

At Marlex, we are collaborating with an established company in its sector that is looking to hire an Accounting Administrative Assistant for its offices.

Reporting to the finance department, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Posting invoices, both manually and through document digitization.

• Daily reconciliation of bank movements and follow-up on collections and payments.

• Creating payment runs and managing their submission to the bank.

• Updating customer credit risk information.

• Sending reminders for overdue invoices via email.

• Reviewing and posting travel expenses (VISA).

• Filing and document control of invoices and payment receipts.

Additionally, they will also participate in:

• Reviewing balances for customers and suppliers.

• Preparing payment runs for suppliers.

• Supporting accounting audits.

• Reviewing errors in the Immediate Information System (SII).

• Assisting with tax preparation (VAT, Intrastat).

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to participate in improvement projects such as:

• Automating invoicing and collection processes.

• Integrating credit risk platforms with ERP.

• Improving bank reconciliation through automation (Norm 43).

• Optimizing accounting processes (amortizations, etc.).
