Traffic Manager - Night Shift

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a company in the logistics sector located in Sant Quirze

del Vallès that is looking to hire a Traffic Manager to manage and coordinate parcel

delivery routes in Catalonia during the night shift.

What will your mission be?

You will be the person responsible for organizing, planning, and supervising night-time

traffic operations, ensuring that delivery routes are correctly planned and that

deliveries are carried out efficiently. Initially, you will have the support and training

of a team member, with the objective that you can subsequently assume management

autonomously.

What will your duties be?

• Organize, plan, and assign parcel delivery routes in Catalonia.

• Coordinate the distribution of vehicles and drivers, optimizing routes and

available resources.

• Monitor routes and supervise compliance with departure,

arrival, and delivery schedules.

• Manage and resolve incidents that may arise during night-time delivery,

offering agile and effective solutions.

• Maintain fluid communication with drivers and the various teams

involved in the logistics operation.

• Control the workload and ensure a balanced distribution of routes.

• Supervise the correct management of documentation associated with shipments and

delivery.

• Use IT tools and traffic management systems to record,

consult, and update route information.

• Guarantee the correct development of operations during the night shift, ensuring

service continuity.

• Progressively assume responsibility for night-time operations, working with

autonomy and making decisions regarding day-to-day incidents.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a traffic manager, traffic coordinator, or in similar positions

within the transport and logistics sector.

• Experience in parcel delivery companies and in the will be especially valued

management of distribution routes in Catalonia will be especially valued.

• Experience organizing routes, coordinating drivers, and resolving operational

incidents.

• Knowledge of the M.SOFT ERP will be very positively valued.

• Availability to work a fixed night shift and experience or habit of working in

night-time hours.

• A very autonomous, organized, and decisive person with the ability to manage

unforeseen events without constant supervision.

• Ability for planning, task prioritization, and decision-making.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

What do we offer?

• Direct incorporation into the company via an indefinite contract from day one.

• Fixed night shift: from 00:00 h to 08:00 h.

• Location: Sant Quirze del Vallès.

• Initial salary between €28,000 and €30,000 gross per year, depending on experience and suitability

for the position, plus the corresponding night shift bonuses.
